Brotherly Love
The transcendent agape love is the highest form of love and is contrasted with philia or brotherly love. Khail was a student at Cambridge-South Dorchester High School and Lucas was a student at North Dorchester Middle School, but somehow, they ended up playing on the same youth football team. Over ten years ago, Khail and Lucas began a brotherly love, leading to this, an organizatin all for love. This heart represents everything the ALL4LOVE organization is built on; true, unwavering, agape brotherly love.
The City of Cambridge
The City of Cambridge is at the center of all things Dorchester County. Recently, the Cambridge community has faced tumultuous times politically, economically, and socially. These unwelcomed times have not been met with fortitude, but rather droves of people running away from the problem. Our team desires to change the narrative and bring hope back to the community. While we serve all of Dorchester County, the City, and the Cambridge community will always be at the forefront of what we do.
Beginning with Love
Over the last few years, Khail, and Lucas began mentoring a group of Middle and High School students. As they continued mentoring, the number of interested boys seemed to grow exponentially. It all began by taking small trips such as going to the trampoline park, and to an activity center in Wilmington, Delaware called Main Event. As interest grew, so did our capacity to grow. The need is evident, and now it’s time for us to step up and go even further, expanding our reach.
Moving Forward Together
We live in an ever-changing, brutal, relentless society, that does not care about whether you succeed or not. One’s ability to find success is almost as if it is up to them and them alone, and for those without support, that seems impossible. Every day, students drop out of school. Every day students are making choices that will negatively impact them for the rest of their lives. Everyday life continues to move forward, and sometimes it leaves others behind, but we have the opportunity to speak life to others. We, every day, as a community have the opportunity to rally around one another and lift this next generation. Every day is a new day, filled with countless opportunities to make the next day better. We as a community have the chance to make serious change… and it can’t wait until tomorrow.
