We have partnered with EarForIt Studios to provide after-school programming for high school-aged students interested in the music industry! Students will meet once a week after school for two hours at the studio with trained staff. Students can choose either the the Artist Development Track or the Audio Production track.
Eligible Students Must:
1. Attend a Dorchester County Public School High School
(Cambridge-South Dorchester or North Dorchester High School)
2. Commit to attend the program for the full 15-week session
3. Display some interest in either Music (Audio) Production, or Artist Development
4. Complete the online application
5. If chosen for the program, you must return all paperwork, completed and signed prior to the cohort start date.
This program has LIMITED seats for each semester! If you are not chosen immediately, we will reach out and explain to you that the program is full. You can reapply for the following semester, or the following year until graduation.

If you select the artist development track you will engage in various aspects of the music industry for artists. This includes aspects such as artist authenticity, efficiency, and music distribution.
You will be placed with an engineer from EarForIt Studios who will help you develop your artist "brand", and even have a chance to record your own song(s) in studio!
Have you ever been interested in the behind-the-scenes production of the music industry? Choose this track if you want to learn more about studio preparation, audio equipment, and more!
You will learn how to mix, record and fine-tune artists from the booth.
High School Aged Students enrolled in a DCPS High School!
You MUST be in High School at either Cambrid ge-South Dorchester High School or North Dorchester High School
If you arent selected for the program, you will be directed to reapply for the following semester cohort or the following year (as long as you haven't already graduated).
The program capacity and studio capacity is 8 students per 15-week semester! This means that you should take your application very seriously as we have a lot of applicants every year interested in the program.
